The Committee on Indian Affairs offers internships to qualified undergraduate/graduate students, and law students. Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program recipient Dr. Angela Pratt was recognized in the 5th Annual Legacy Awards for her career and efforts to serve her community.  She is a graduate of the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii.

We are a Federally-funded scholarship program.  All of the details about our program and the application process are outlined in a single document: Our Application and Program Guidance, or APG for short.

We highly recommend all applicants or those interested in the program download and review the APG.  Applicants to the scholarship program should note that, as outlined in the online application, there are several components to our application process: The online application, and a secondary set of paper documents contained in our APG.

The Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program would like to congratulate Dr. Kamana`opono Crabbe for his recent appointment as CEO at the Office Of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA).  Dr. Crabbe was a recipient of the Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program in 1992, and received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University Of Hawai`i at Manoa via the Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program.
