To be eligible for our scholarship, you must:

1. Be of Native Hawaiian ancestry (verified by birth certificate).
2. Be a full-time student enrolled at a fully accredited college or university.
3. Be pursuing one of the eligible professions listed in the About section.
4. Be willing to relocate anywhere within the state of Hawai`i to fulfill your service obligation.

We begin accepting applications on: January 15th, 2009. Until then, the online application is not available.

To apply for our program, you must take the following steps:

1. Apply online (deadline: April 24th, 2009).
2. Download, print, fill out, and mail in the Supplemental Documents packet (deadline: Apri 24th, 2009).
3. Undergo an interview (we will contact you and schedule one).

Your selection for the scholarship as well as your eligibility for the scholarship are determined by these three things.
